By accessing or using Dalang.io services, you agree to the following terms. The contracting party for your purchase is identified on your invoice and on the Legal & Procurement page; standard agreements are available on request via [email protected].

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Dalang.io's website or services, you confirm you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Dalang.io offers managed VPS, managed baremetal, container hosting, and related cloud infrastructure services. Services are provided as-is; we strive for reliability, security, and performance but do not warrant fitness for a specific purpose beyond the SLA documented in section 12 (or in the customer's MSA, where one is signed).

3. User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and current information when creating an account or purchasing services.
  • Do not use our services for illegal, harmful, or malicious purposes (including but not limited to: unauthorized access, denial-of-service, malware distribution, or content prohibited by Indonesian law).
  • Secure your login credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
  • Violation of these conditions may result in immediate service termination, account ban, and no refund.

4. Payments & Refund Policy

  • All payments are non-refundable, including in cases of voluntary or involuntary service cancellation, account termination, or dissatisfaction with the service.
  • Enterprise contracts (signed via MSA) may include service-credit terms β€” refer to the MSA for the credit framework that applies.
  • By making a payment you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All content, branding, and technology provided by Dalang.io are owned by us or licensed to us.
  • You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works of our intellectual property without explicit written permission.

6. Service Availability

  • We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
  • Scheduled maintenance and unforeseen incidents may cause temporary disruption; we provide advance notice for planned windows where possible. Live status: uptime.dalang.io.
  • Self-serve products are offered under a best-effort 95% annual uptime target; service credits do not apply at this tier.
  • Enterprise tiers (single-tenant baremetal, dedicated infrastructure) carry an SLA-backed uptime commitment. The applicable SLA and credit framework are documented in the customer's MSA β€” see /enterprise for the public summary (Jakarta: Tier 3-equivalent, 99.982% internal target; Banten: Tier 1-equivalent, 99.671% internal target). "Tier 3-equivalent" / "Tier 1-equivalent" describe design specifications matched to Uptime Institute reference designs; neither facility is Uptime Institute-certified.

7. Termination of Services

Dalang.io reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts in the following cases:

  • Violation of these Terms of Use.
  • Non-payment or unresolved payment disputes.
  • Resource abuse, security threats, or activities that may harm Dalang.io or other users.
  • At our discretion, where necessary to protect service integrity.

No refund will be issued in cases of suspension or termination for cause.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indonesian law, Dalang.io is not liable for:

  • Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, our services.
  • Loss of data or revenue caused by service interruptions, unauthorized access, or user negligence.
  • Total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Dalang.io in the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email and reflected by an updated "Last reviewed" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after the effective date of a modification constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia when contracting with the Indonesian PT entities, or the laws of Singapore when contracting with Dalang Pte Ltd. The contracting entity for your purchase is identified on your invoice and on the Legal & Procurement page. Disputes are resolved in the courts of the contracting entity's jurisdiction.

11. Recommendations to Users

To ensure smooth usage of Dalang.io services, we recommend:

  • Regular off-platform backups of critical data.
  • Strong, unique credentials for every account.
  • Keeping operating systems, applications, and configurations current.
  • Avoiding the hosting or execution of untested or malicious code.
  • Monitoring usage to prevent unexpected costs or quota overages.

12. SLA Disclaimer

  • The default 95% annual uptime target for self-serve products is a best-effort commitment, not a contractual SLA.
  • Excluded from any uptime calculation:
    • Force-majeure events (natural disasters, government action, network-provider outages outside our control).
    • User misconfiguration, security breaches caused by user negligence, or third-party software failures.
    • Scheduled maintenance announced in advance.
  • For self-serve products, no financial credits, refunds, or compensations are provided for downtime.
  • Enterprise SLAs (Tier 3-equivalent / Tier 1-equivalent baremetal under signed MSA) include credit-back terms β€” see the MSA. Note: "Tier 3-equivalent" / "Tier 1-equivalent" describe design specifications matched to Uptime Institute reference designs; neither the Jakarta nor Banten data center is Uptime Institute-certified. Jakarta is hosted in an ISO 27001 / ISO 9001-certified facility (upstream colocation provider).
