Sales Engineer (Pre-Sales) — Indonesia

Technical pre-sales partner to the Head of B2B Sales (Indonesia) and Regional AE (Singapore) for non-AI deals — VPS, baremetal, container hosting, custom servers. Owns LKPP / government tender responses, RFP technical questionnaires, BOQ assembly, demos, and reference architectures. Distinct from the AI Solutions Architect (who covers AI / GPU pre-sales).

Yang akan Anda kerjakan

  • Lead technical discovery on non-AI prospects: workload type, capacity, network topology, compliance constraints, audit posture.
  • Recommend the right configuration — baremetal SKU, region (Pandeglang Tier 1-equivalent vs Jakarta IDC 3D Tier 3-equivalent), network and storage layout.
  • Own LKPP e-katalog application maintenance and renewals — the paperwork-heavy parts.
  • Respond to RFPs / RFQs from BUMN, government agencies, and regulated banks — both the technical questionnaire and the BOQ (Bill of Quantities) sections.
  • Work with Finance on tender pricing and Engineering on technical feasibility statements.
  • Run demos and POCs; maintain reference architectures for the most common Indonesian buyer profiles.
  • Hand each closed deal to the Customer Success Lead with a clean technical-handoff doc.

Yang kami butuhkan dari Anda

  • 4+ years technical pre-sales / sales-engineering for infrastructure, cloud, or managed-services in Indonesia.
  • Demonstrated wins on LKPP or government tenders, or BUMN procurement, or equivalent regulated-buyer engagements.
  • Solid grounding in Linux, networking, virtualization, and container hosting; can run a demo without engineering on the call.
  • Comfortable with paper-heavy procurement workflows: BOQ assembly, technical-compliance matrices, vendor pre-qualification (PRA-KUALIFIKASI / RKS).
  • Native Bahasa Indonesia, working English.

  • Existing relationships at LKPP, BSSN, or BUMN procurement teams.
  • PSE registration and POJK 11/2022 documentation experience.
  • Prior pre-sales role at a regional cloud or DC vendor (Lintasarta, BiznetGio, Cloudbiz, Indosat / IOH, Telkomsigma, NetApp).
