Account Executive — APAC / Regional (Singapore)

Build Dalang.io's non-Indonesian sales motion from the Singapore contracting entity (Dalang Pte Ltd). Sell sovereign Indonesian cloud and baremetal to regional banks, multinationals with SEA workloads, and SG/MY enterprises. Indonesia data residency is the wedge — buyers come because they need to keep data in-country with an auditable vendor.

What you will do

  • Build and own the regional sales pipeline: Singapore, Malaysia, regional MNCs with Indonesian operations.
  • Position Indonesia data residency and regulatory compliance as the buyer angle for non-Indonesian enterprises.
  • Negotiate MSAs and DPAs under Singapore law (template provided; outside counsel reviews).
  • Manage procurement for regional banks (MAS Outsourcing Guidelines, Notice 626), regional MNCs, and SG/MY government-adjacent buyers under SG PDPA / MY PDPA frameworks.
  • Coordinate with the Indonesian Head of B2B Sales on cross-border accounts (e.g., MNC with HQ in SG and operations in Jakarta).
  • Represent Dalang.io at SG/regional industry events (CommunicAsia, GovWare, regional cloud/infra summits).
  • Hand closed deals to the Customer Success Lead for onboarding; report regional pipeline into the company forecast.

What we need from you

  • 5+ years B2B enterprise sales in APAC/SEA, preferably with a Singapore-based regional sales role on the CV.
  • Demonstrated wins with regional banks, multinationals, or regional government-adjacent buyers.
  • Comfort with technical buyers (CIO, CTO, Head of Cloud) — not a hands-on engineer, but reads architectures fluently.
  • Working knowledge of regional regulatory frameworks: SG PDPA, MAS Outsourcing Guidelines / Notice 626, MY PDPA, regional data-sovereignty patterns.
  • Native or near-native English; able to lead negotiations with regional general counsel.

Nice to have

  • Existing rolodex at Singapore financial regulators or regional banks.
  • Prior experience selling sovereign / data-residency-anchored cloud or data-center services.
  • Mandarin or Bahasa Melayu language skills.
  • Experience working across Indonesian and Singapore legal / billing entities simultaneously.

What success looks like in 90 days

  • Regional pipeline reporting integrated into the company's overall sales forecast.
  • First five qualified regional opportunities surfaced and worked.
  • Three industry / buyer events identified for the next six months with an execution plan.
